Barre fitness combines traditional ballet form and movement with the strength training and foundation of yoga and pilates. It incorporates the ballet barre with resistance bands and weights for a low-impact, full body, toning workout!
Pilates is a low impact, core strengthening fitness method, aimed at increasing flexibility and postural alignment. It can either be performed on a reformer, tower, or floor mat. Pilates aims to both lengthen and stabilize your musculature through precise movements using resistance.
Workshops give you the opportunity to learn more about a specific yogic concept, or to have more time to break down a pose or set of poses. I offer workshops in releasing samskaras, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra.
Yoga retreats are a great way to immerse yourself in your yoga practice and establish some great connections with like- minded individuals. Yoga retreats often get you out of your comfort zone and enable you to explore new locations in a nurturing environment. I offer one day retreats in Southern California and multi-day retreats in exotic locations like Costa Rica.
Reiki is a healing modality utilizing the channeling of energy, called different names depending on the tradition. I call it chi or prana. Using the energy moving through my hands, I balance out your energy, focusing on the chakras, the major energetic channels in the body. I have been practicing Reiki since 2012.
One on One Yoga
Group classes are a great way to become introduced to yoga practice, understand breath to movement synchronization, and become acquainted with alignment. However, asana practice works best when customized to the individual practitioner, which the instructor can cue on a one on one basis.
SUP Yoga Classes
SUP Yoga classes combine yoga asana with the balance and core strengthening exercise of Stand Up Paddle Boarding. Savasana on the water is a truly blissful experience!
